Staff AccommodationMany prospective employees are looking for a place to stay during the winter or summer season. Blue Mountain is pleased to offer a limited number of staff accommodation beds to our staff. During the hiring process, we will be able to let you know whether they still have any beds available. However, we still strongly recommend you arrive with pre-booked accommodation.
The average employee pays from $390 to $475 per month for accommodation. If allocated a room in staff accommodation, your move in date will be pre-arranged with Human Resources. You will need to sign in AND out; a process that involves signing a Tenancy Agreement, learning more about living at Blue, receiving your key and signing a payroll deduction form for your rent. There is a $200 damage deposit required prior to moving in. This is returned when you leave your room clean and undamaged. Accommodation will be assigned to you upon your arrival to Blue Mountain. The locations are off site of the Resort but within 15 minutes walking distance to work. You will be expected to walk to and from your work site.
All our locations provide shared cooking facilities (oven, stove, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, a large common/dining area, shared bathrooms, and bedrooms both single and shared with one person are available. You will be asked for your first choice in securing a private or shared room but limited space is available so it may not be possible. Part-time employees are not eligible. What is included in your rent? Extra Costs: There are quiet times in staff accommodation for the wellbeing and consideration of all tenants. These are enforced by our Security department and we expect tenants to respect the rules and those they share housing with. Eviction may occur if residents break rules of the Tenancy Act or are found doing illegal activities.

For RentersHow Does Staff Accommodation Connection (SAC) Work?
Upon receiving a job offer from Blue Mountain Resort, Human Resources will give you exclusive use of our housing library. It will provide you with a list of potential accommodation ranging from Rooms for Rent to Apartments to Multi-Room Chalets. Geographic locations and costs will vary and it will your responsibility to find the right fit for you. As an extra service, the library will also include a list of other staff who are also seeking accommodation and who may be looking for a roommate. Only those employees who have agreed in writing to having their contact information on this list will be included and there is no obligation to do so. Further to receiving a copy of the housing library, each seeker (BMR employees only) will also be eligible for a 1-night discounted stay ($50.00 Cdn) at the Blue Mountain Inn so that you will have somewhere to stay during your search. ** Some conditions apply. Please note: You must have secured a position with Blue Mountain Resorts before you will be eligible to participate in the Staff Accommodation Connection (SAC) program. If you are interested in the SAC program, you will have an opportunity in the on-line application process to make us aware of your interest. Blue Mountain Resort compiles a “local rentals” booklet. Employees requiring local accommodation will have access to this booklet upon receiving an unconditional job offer at BMR.
