JULYJuly 2 - 5 - Silly Science – Children will learn about air pressure, compression and density through hands-on science experiments. July 8 - 12 - Explore the Outdoors – Letting children investigate and learn about our nature friends, frogs, deer, birds, and other Blue Mountain Habitat. Children will make nature crafts with items they find around the mountain. July 15 - 19 - Art Week – Experiment with color, texture and other materials. Activities will include tie-dye, pony beads and more. July 22 - 26 - Enjoy All Things Water: Activities will include; water gun tag, pool, giant water slide, water balloon toss, boating and canoeing at the beach and swimming at Plunge! Aquatic Centre. July 29 - August 2 - Obstacle Course – Playing on obstacle courses designed for bikes, hiking, running, balancing water! AUGUSTAugust 6 - 9 - Earth Week – Exploring green spaces at Blue Mountain and using items from nature for art activities. August 12 - 16 - Water Week - Enjoy all things water including spray bottle tag, water slide, sprinklers, balloon toss and visit to Plunge! Aquatic Centre. August 19 - 23 - Be a Good Sport – Team activities including kick ball, catch, over/under and dodge ball. August 26 - 30 - Back to School – Before campers head back to school they will be treated to a recap of their favourite activities over the summer! |
