Mountain Hardware presents Superheroes of Stoke

Matchstick Productions is proud to bring you the most eagerly awaited ski film of the last two decades. “SUPERHEROES OF STOKE” celebrates MSP’s heritage and 20 years of skiing progression, showcasing icons of the sport and honoring the moments that helped define modern freeskiing. Come out for tons of great giveaways from Mountain Hardware, Red Devil and Blue Mountain Resort.

Roxy Ride Day - All Girls Snowboard Day

The Roxy Ride Days are part of an all-girl snowboard coaching tour where female riders can progress their park and all-mountain skills with guest coaches and Roxy team riders. Whether you are a beginner park rider hitting your first jump or a solid all mountain rider with cliffy skills, the Roxy Ride Days will suit your level of riding and goals. It’s a fun and progressive day out on the mountain and in the park! Meet in the Blue Mountain Inn Spectacular Room starting at 8:30am.
Open to ages 14+. Cost is $50 + lift ticket. Register online. |

Billabong Flaunt It

Billabong is proud to announce the start of the 7th season of the Billabong Flaunt It Tour supported by VonZipper, Dakine, Nixon, Snowboarder Magazine and Snowboard Canada. Flaunt It is an All-Girls Slopestyle & Rail Jam snowboard series that is aimed at giving girls from all levels a chance to Flaunt It, while providing over $75,000 in cash and prizes for the girls to vie for. The contest format is a morning slopestyle jam followed by an afternoon rail jam. While there is some serious cash and prizes up for grabs, this contest series was designed with fun in mind! Each competitor will be allowed to do as many runs as possible with the judges watching throughout the day to determine the standout riders. At each event, every competitor will receive a gift bag and a free lunch.
Event registration and schedule is available online. Meet in the Blue Mountain Inn, Spectacular Room at 8am. Must have a valid lift ticket or season pass to participate. |

FIS World Cup Snowboard Cross

The World Cup Snowboardcross is back for 2013! Watch the world's best athletes race down a course 6 at a time, full of jumps and berms battling for worldwide ranking. The Snowboard Cross is always one of Blue Mountain's most exciting events of the season, broadcasted across over seventeen different countries. Badlands Park Series: Terrain Park

Badlands Park series is Blue Mountain’s own grassroots terrain park series taking place Wednesday evenings in February. Never competed before? No problem! This event is designed to welcome new riders to the contest scene. All ages welcome! Categories include ski and snowboard 14 & under, amateur, open and girls. Tons of prizes from Salomon, SPY, Bonfire and Dakine. $5 entry, registration is from 5:30 – 6:30 in the Kandahar foyer, Blue Mountain Inn. Contest runs from 7-9PM. |

Volcom Stone Peanut Butter Rail Jam

Volcom Stone’s Peanut Butter and Rail Jam is Ontario's largest rail jam and a staple event on the Ontario snowboard scene. Back at Blue Mountain for its 10th year, you can expect to see over 150 riders from across the province throw some smooth peanut-buttery tricks on a signature PBRJ set up. The newly designed Badlands terrain park will host Canada's best freestyle athletes as they compete for the series title. Contest is open to all ages and abilities. Lifted Golden Ticket

Ages 16 & Under both ski and snowboard are invited to show off their skills to the Salomon Pros for their chance to get hooked up next season with a full outerwear, hardgoods, shop sponsorship and Super Pass from Blue Mountain Resort. 5 Skiers and 5 Snowboarders will be chosen to compete in the final for the ‘Golden Ticket’. SNOW Media Showcase

SNOW is a collaboration of mixed media from all who are inspired by a winter lifestyle. The showcase is made up of three disciplines: photo, film and contemporary art. Taking place over March Break, guests will be able to browse all art & photo displays at no cost. Friday and Saturday Evening will be the marquee ticketed events, with an opening gala fundraiser on Friday night and the SBC Media Showcase taking place on Saturday. |
