Please join our Hospitality Team as they accomplish the busiest arrival day in the history for Blue Mountain Resort on Sunday June 11th. As our weekenders depart on Sunday, a resort wide group arrives and needs all of rooms the ready for check-in time of 4pm!

This is where YOU come in, we need an additional 80 employees to reach our goal.

What’s in it for me?
Participation includes a complimentary breakfast, lunch, après shift drinks and buffet PLUS being a part of a record breaking moment at BLUE! Participating Blue Mountain hourly employees will be paid their current wage for the day. Salary employees will be provided a day in lieu by their managers. Prior department approval is required.

Positions Include

Assistant Room Attendant
Sunday, June 11, 2017 – 9:00am to 4:00pm
The Assistant Room Attendant will partner with a Room Attendant to assist them in cleaning guest rooms and gathering supplies for the room. The cleaning tasks will involve making beds and sofa-beds, removing and transporting linen and garbage from guest rooms, light cleaning and dusting, vacuuming, and re-stocking supplies.

Luggage Attendant
Sunday, June 11, 2017 – 12:00pm to 7:00pm
The Luggage Attendants will be working as a team to unload luggage from busses and transport to individual hotel buildings on resort in an efficient and timely fashion. You will be guided by a Team Lead and use luggage tags with corresponding guest lists to identify where the luggage needs to go. Those working as Luggage attendants will meet at 12:00 in the Vista Room in GCL. Signing-up for training day is not required.

Mandatory training date (if you cannot attend this date, please let us know in advance)
Time: CHOOSE ONE: 1:00pm–3:00pm OR 3:00pm–5:00pm
Location: Start in Grand Central Lodge What to wear: Comfortable closed-toe shoes (running shoes). If you are already working that day, just wear your uniform! What you will be doing: Learning how to make a bed, then touring the hotels and seeing where you will be working on June 11th.
What to bring: A positive attitude and a smile

JUNE 11, 2017
Start Time: 9:00am
End Time: Estimated around 4:00pm
Start Location: Grand Georgian Housekeeping Office (parking level 2)
What to wear: Comfortable closed-toe shoes (running shoes) and clean black pants or blue jeans in good condition. Please wear a non-logoed t-shirt or long sleeved shirt that you will be comfortable working in all day. Do not wear necklaces, rings or long earrings. Please tie hair back if longer than shoulder-length.
What you will be doing: Working with a partner to clean guest rooms in our hotels. Light cleaning, making beds, vacuuming, and moving supplies around.
What to bring: Bring your Blue Mountain uniform (if appropriate for indoor work). If you do not have a Blue Mountain uniform, wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes. Also bring a bottle of water and a lunch if you want (there will be a lunch provided)

Blue Mountain Employee Participants
Current BMR employees will require approval from their managers to participate in the Epic Flip. If you would like to participate in the Epic Flip but are unsure if you have approval from Management, please sign-up and we will work with your manager to confirm your availability.

Blue Mountain Employee Friends and Family Participation
Friends and family of BMR employees are welcome to join! These participants will be hired as an employee for the training day and event day. To be eligible to participate, individuals must be 14 years of age and have a valid SIN. Interested individuals must sign up using the link on this page. They will be contacted with further details. Assistant Room Attendant
You must be able to lift up to 20 lbs throughout the day, including up to 15 lbs from waist to above shoulder level frequently throughout the day. Must be able to work above shoulder level frequently to fulfill cleaning tasks throughout the day (wiping walls, mirrors, windows, putting away inventory, hanging shower curtains, etc) and be able to push carts and vacuums on a regular and continuing basis throughout the day.

Luggage Attendant

You will be working outdoors and indoors throughout the day and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day and be able to push luggage carts on a regular and continuing basis throughout the day.
