FIS World Snow Day
On Sunday, January 15th, World Snowsports Events Group and Blue Mountain Resort will combine forces for the annual FIS World Snow Day to provide a special opportunity for local children to experience a day of skiing and snowboarding at Blue Mountain, overlooking beautiful Georgian Bay.

World Snowsports Events Group, organizers of the Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup to be held at Blue Mountain March 2-5, 2017, will organize a ski and snowboard day for the local Big Brothers Big Sisters organizations.Up to 100 Big Brothers Big Sisters participants from the Georgian Triangle will "Explore, Enjoy and Experience" a great day on the snow at Blue Mountain Resort.“Bigs and Littles” from Ontario's Georgian Triangle region will receive complimentary lift passes, equipment rentals and lessons, along with bus transportation and lunch at the resort.

The day will include a media event to kick-off the World Cup program for 2017. The FIS World Cup event held at Blue Mountain will include a variety of community initiatives aimed at school kids throughout the region to promote active living and healthy lifestyles through snowsports.
