Sunny Side Up Hiking Trail
Along the Edge
A Short and Fun Hike
Traverse over rocks and roots and alongside the edge of the Escarpment on Sunny Side Up. This short side trail is a great introduction to cross-country riding or offers a bit of shade and canopy cover for hikers looking to bypass the Woodview loop.

Green World
Usage: Hike

Trail direction from Sunny Side Up: Green World will take you down the mountain and back to South Base

Cascade
Usage: Hike
Difficulty: Advanced
Trail direction from Sunny Side Up: Cascade will take you down the mountain and back to South Base
Walking time: 40 minutes
Gully
Usage: Hike
Difficulty: Intermediate
Trail direction from Sunny Side Up: Gully is another side trail that takes you partly down the mountain and intersects with Southern Cross which leads to Cascade, or Green World. Both Cascade and Green World are full top to bottom trails from South Base.

Southern Cross
Trail Length: 0.89km
Difficulty: Intermediate
Trail direction from Sunny Side Up: Southern Cross begins at Sunny Side Up's southern entry point near the Grind. This side trail will take you from the Orchard across to Cascade main trail and back to South Base (hence the name!).

Woodview
Usage: Hike
Difficulty: Beginner
Trail direction from Sunny Side Up: Woodview loop runs parallel to Sunny Side Up in certain sections. Hikers can access Woodview from Sunny Side Up's southern entry point near The Grind or from the northern entry point near Green World's summit.
Walking Time: ~25 minutes
The Grind
Usage: Multi-Use (hike/bike on lower half, hike only on upper half)
Difficulty: Advanced
Trail direction from Sunny Side Up: The Grind begins at Sunny Side Up's southern entry point. From there, it heads down the mountain to the Orchard hiking area.
