Bring Tried And True (And Some New) Techniques

Please note: Guests may access Timber Challenge High Ropes Guided Tour with an Add-On Adventure Ticket only. Add-On Adventure Tickets must be purchased online, in advance of arrival, to secure your access. Guests purchasing tickets will choose a tour time at ticket redemption. A limited number of walk-up tickets may be available but are not guaranteed. 10 participants per tour.

Climb ladders, cross bridges, and cruise zip lines. Increase your comfort zone and find creative ways to navigate the exciting elements in store for you on this challenging Ontario ropes course. Individuals and teams will test their inner and outer strength as they overcome new challenges on their own and with a little help from friends.

High Ropes Details
  • Participants must be 13 years of age or older and able to reach 1.8 m (6 ft) with their feet flat on the ground to access all courses
  • With their feet flat on the ground, participants aged 10-12 must be able to reach 1.5 m (5 ft) to access the green courses, and must be able to reach 1.8m (6 ft) to access the blue courses
  • Participants aged 10-12 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older (2:1 ratio), and are not allowed to access the black courses
  • A course of each difficulty level must be completed before progressing to the next level.
  • Maximum participant weight is 113 kg (250 lbs)
  • Harness and helmet are provided
  • Closed-toe and closed-back shoes are required - running shoes are recommended
  • Participants must have sufficient physical dexterity and the ability to use the equipment properly
  • For safety, individuals who have undergone a kidney transplant or pregnant women are prohibited from participating on any ropes course
  • Weather and conditions permitting

Tickets available at the Activity Central building. mandatory basic instruction is provided by trained blue mountain resort staff prior to participation. One course in each level must be completed before advancing to more difficult levels. Participants must have sufficient physical dexterity and the ability to use the equipment properly.
