All Bikers must wear a XC helmet. Bikers under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult 18+ on a 1:2 ratio (1 adult: 2 children)

Bike Trail Access

Access to the Explore Park's biking network can be obtained with an Explore All Day Pass, Play All Day Pass, Play As You Go ticket, or 2021/22 Season Pass product including 5x7®️, Ikon, and Explore Pass.

No. Bike Rentals may be purchased for an additional fee at time of arrival from Activity Central.
No. Bikes are no longer permitted on the Gondola. Guests that would like to ride the mountaintop trails are encouraged to drive their bikes to the top, and park in the designated lot. Blue Mountain rental bikes are not to be transported in personal vehicles. Guided bike tours are offered at the Woodview Mountaintop Activity Centre hut and include a bike rental and helmet.
No. Climbing and descending bike trails do not go all the way down or up the mountain. The climbing and descending trails in The Orchard are only partially up the hill. Mountaintop trails run parallel across the top and do not offer significant climbs or descents.
Yes! Rental bikes may be purchased for an additional fee at time of arrival from Activity Central. Quantities are limited and are not guaranteed.
We recommend riders have disc brakes and knobby tires. If you have a bike that does not fit these specifications, rentals are available at Activity Central.
There are 12 trails designated for cross country biking. The majority of the trails are located in The Orchard and South Base area. There are 5 trails located at the top of the mountain. More information on each trail can be found on the Explore Park map.

Guided Bike Tours

Bike tour with a view! Guests enjoy an Open-Air Gondola ride to the top of the mountain where they can cruise along gravel trails that overlook Southern Georgian Bay with one of our friendly and knowledgeable guides. Guided Scenic Rides include Gondola access, rental bike and helmet. This activity is great for all levels of cycling ability.

*Price per person, plus HST. Includes bike rental, helmet, one return Gondola ride, and guide. Guided bike tours take place at the top of Blue Mountain Resort leaving from the Woodview Activity Centre. Tickets are available to purchase in person at Activity Central located at the base of Blue Mountain next to the Open-Air Gondola. Guests may choose to ride their own bike but standard rates will still apply.
