The event begins with dumming by Lorne Pawis and an Awareness Walk through Blue Mountain Village, offering space for reflection and solidarity. Participants will then ride the gondola—tickets provided free of charge—to the mountaintop Elevate (Mbin'ge) art installation, where Indigenous speaker, Eagle Blackbird and his grandmother, Jenny Blackbird, a Residential School Survivor, will share stories, truths, and teachings, followed by a Q&A. Together, we will walk, listen, and learn in the spirit of truth, reconciliation, and collective
