Intermediate - Expert / Ages 8 - 9 (As of December 31)

Our U10 Ski Race Program immerses young athletes in an exciting race experience. Led by dedicated coaches, the program offers a variety of training opportunities, including terrain and stubby courses, to develop their skills in navigating gates. Each coaching day is tailored to focus on individual athlete skill development and different aspects of ski racing such as technical free-skiing or mastering giant slalom (GS) and slalom (SL) courses. Participants will acquire and consolidate the skills that prepare them for the thrilling downhill race experience. With a team-oriented environment and enthusiastic coaching staff, this program establishes a strong foundation for the growth of skiers and ski racers, ensuring an engaging and enjoyable journey.

The U10 Ski Race Program runs at Blue Mountain and requires no travel to other clubs. We do have an interclub race between Jozo Weider and Toronto Ski Club, which is called the Canning Cup.

Requirements: To participate in the program, individuals must have the ability to independently ride the chair lift and demonstrate controlled skiing on intermediate slopes (blue terrain) while using poles and maintaining a parallel stance.
