Advanced-Expert
Ages 12-13 as of December 31

U14 serves as the next developmental stage for young ski racers, where our program maintains a strong focus on the consolidation and refinement of technical and tactical skills both in and outside of gates. At this stage, athletes transition into the "learn to race" phase and further refine their training in accordance with Alpine Canada's long-term athlete development model. This includes the incorporation of decision training, where athletes learn to make informed decisions and take responsibility for their training and performance. The U14 program is designed to support athletes as they develop and prepare for the challenges of competitive ski racing.

U14 Southern Ontario Division (SOD):
The U14 SOD (Southern Ontario Division) Program serves as a natural progression from the U12 SOD Program. Athletes train and travel as a team while competing individually in Giant Slalom (GS) and Slalom (SL) disciplines. In addition, athletes can enhance their chosen program by registering for additional Friday Training/Coaching Days throughout the winter season. To promote further skills development and versatility, we also encourage U14 athletes to register for our Christmas and/or New Years Camps, and/or train and compete in the exhilarating ski-cross (SX) discipline.
