Who can Participate?

Eligible employees who refer qualified candidates for employment with Blue Mountain Resort may be eligible to receive the Employee Referral Bonus if the candidate meets the required criteria.

Referring employee: a Blue Mountain employee recommending someone as a viable and qualified candidate for employment at Blue Mountain.

Referred candidate or “referral”: someone who is not yet been hired as a Blue Mountain employee and who has been recommended by an existing active Blue Mountain employee.

How much is the Bonus?

The Employee Referral Bonus is equal to the gross amount of $350 per eligible referral.

How do I know if  I'm Eligible?

  • Referring employee must be already active and hired on 12/15/2022.

  • Referring employees must work until the end of the winter season up to and including March 18, 2023 and must be in good standing for payment to be issued.

  • Referrals are only valid for candidates who have not yet been hired. All referrals must be submitted prior to the application process commencing.

  • Eligible referrals must be hired into the following positions:
    • Snowboard Instructor
    • Hardgoods (Burton) Sales Associate
    • Retail Sales Associate
    • Room Attendant
    • Public Spaces Associate
    • Base Lodge Service Attendant
    • Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher
    • Lifeguard

  • Referred candidate must work until end of the winter season up to an including March 18, 2023 and must be in good standing for payment to be issued.
When is the program in effect?

The Employee Referral Bonus Program is in effect from December 20, 2022 through March 18, 2023.
How do I make a referral?

Employees can refer a candidate and be eligible for the Referral Bonus by making the referral through Workday. Details on how to Refer a Candidate in Workday are found in the Workday Knowledge Library, linked here for your convenience.
Is there a cut off for making referrals?

Yes. All Employee Referral submissions must be received by January 15th, 2023 to be eligible for the bonus payout.
