Employees who refer qualified candidates for employment with Blue Mountain Resort may be eligible to receive the Employee Referral Reward if the candidate meets the required criteria.
Referring employee: A Blue Mountain employee recommending someone as a viable and qualified candidate for employment at Blue Mountain.
Referred candidate or “referral”: someone who is not yet been hired as a Blue Mountain employee and who has been recommended by an existing active Blue Mountain employee. The referred candidate must complete the season they are hired for, or in the case of year-round positions, exceed the probation period of 90-days.
How much is the referral reward?
The Employee Referral Reward is equal to the gross amount of $250 for every qualified candidate you refer.
How do I know if I'm eligible?
- Referring employee must be active and hired at the time of referral
- Referring employees must work until the end of the season/after 90-days and must be in good standing for payment to be issued.
- Referrals are only valid for candidates who have not yet been hired. All referrals must be submitted prior to the application process commencing.

How do I make a referral?
Employees can refer an eligible candidate for the program through Workday. For details on how to refer a candidate in workday visit the Workday Help Library or contact Human Resources for more information.
Is there a cut off for making referrals?
There is no cut-off for making referrals, however payment will be dependent on the season the referral is employed for, or after the probation period for year-round positions.
