When are Kids Group Lessons available?

Lessons are only available Saturdays & Sundays from December 21, 2024 to March 16, 2025 as well as during holidays, which include the following dates: December 21, 2024 to January 5, 2025, February 17, and from March 8 to 16, 2025.

Where are Kids Group Lessons held?

All Kids Group Lessons are held at South Base Lodge.

Where do we check in for Kids Lessons (if we already have equipment and a ticket or season pass)?

Check-in is located at the second level patio of South Base Lodge; please use the stairs left of the ticket windows.

Where do we check in if we need rentals or a lift ticket?

Please schedule a rental pickup appointment at South Base Rentals located at South Base Lodge at least one hour prior to your lesson time.

Are helmets mandatory?

Helmets are mandatory in all Snow School lessons for participants 17 years old and younger.

Is lunch included in the lesson?

Half Day Kids Group Lessons for ages 4-6 does not include lunch.

Calling all little rippers! Spend part of your day with the pros to receive a fun and challenging on-snow experience. Kids Group Lessons are tailored to meet your child's current skill level and give them that little bit of extra guidance to take their skiing or snowboarding up a notch.

These are the perfect lessons to introduce your children to new friends, new skills and to explore the mountain with their peers and is designed to teach children from the ground up. Our goal is to create a lifelong love for winter sports for you and your kids to share for years to come. Suitable for any ability level, we assess all participants and group them with children of a similar ability level.

Price + HST. Lift tickets are mandatory for all snow school lessons and are sold separately for an additional fee. Lessons do not include equipment rentals and must be purchased separately. If you require rentals, please book in advance to ensure availability, and arrive at least 1 hour prior to your lesson start time to pick up your rentals at Village Activity Central or South Base Lodge Rentals location.

Lessons can be refunded if done more than 3 days prior to planned day of use by contacting refund@bluemountain.ca, and are non-refundable within 3 days of planned use. Resale is prohibited. Opening Day and Closing Day will be determined at the sole discretion of Blue Mountain Resort. All hours of operation are weather and conditions permitting, and are subject to change.
