Blue Mountain Village Association will moderate a panel discussion with tourism industry experts and local economic development leaders to shed some light on the trends, issues and opportunities that lie ahead for Blue Mountain Village and our region. Topics will include: labour force development, regional and international marketing, demographic shifts, global tourism trends and more!

BMVA is proud to launch the inaugural Community Leader Award. The Community Leader Award will recognize the efforts of BMVA Members who make a difference in the South Georgian Bay Community. Individuals will be nominated by members for consideration. Award criteria is as follows:

Must be a current BMVA Member (resort partner, homeowner, lodging, commercial or associate member)
Demonstrates positive contribution to the South Georgian Bay Region through community engagement, philanthropy, regional development efforts, etc.
Has made a positive impact on the BMVA Member community
Champion for the region, resort business model and BMVA’s efforts
Champion for the tourism industry
