Resort Accommodation Terms & Conditions These policy pertain to Blue Mountain Resort properties (excluding The Westin Trillium House) Cancellation & Change Policy
Changes to your reservation such as room type or date changes could cause an increase or decrease in price

Cancellation Window
Lodging reservations may be cancelled or changed up to 6pm three days prior to your arrival date. Add-ons may be cancelled or changed up to 6pm three days prior to your arrival date.

Deposit Amount
A deposit for one-night stay including applicable tax (HST) and 4% Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) will be processed at time of booking.


Deposit Forfeiture
If the lodging reservation is cancelled within three days of arrival or you do not arrive on your scheduled date, the reservation will automatically be cancelled, and your deposit forfeited. Add-ons that are cancelled within three days of arrival or are not redeemed on the scheduled date will result in forfeiture of the add-on amount.


Cancellation Window
Reservations and add-ons are fully pre-paid at the time of reservation. Cancellation or changes are not permitted with these offers.


Deposit Amount

Deposit Forfeiture
If the reservation and add-ons are cancelled at any time after reservation, the deposit amount will be forfeited.

Taxes & Fees

As taxes and fees may fluctuate from the time a reservation is made until the actual stay, and during the actual stay, the total price is an estimate.

Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT)

Municipal Accommodation Tax applies to all overnight stays of less than 30 days in the Town of The Blue Mountains. This is a mandatory 4% tax that is paid by visitors when paying for accommodation. The tax is being implemented by the Town of The Blue Mountains in accordance with Ontario Regulation 435/17: TRANSIENT ACCOMMODATION TAX

The tax rate is 4% of the purchase price of the accommodation only (the room rate). The tax does not apply to other associated services and amenities, like meeting room rentals, food and beverages, room services, Internet and phone charges. Village Amenity Fee

All reservations up to January 6, 2025 will be subject to a 2% Village Amenity Fee (VAF) that will be charged to your bill on checkout. This Fee is collected by Blue Mountain Resorts LP to cover our sales royalty fees to Blue Mountain Village Association (BMVA) which provides visitor amenities and programming available throughout the Village. Blue Mountain Village Association (BMVA) is a not for profit, membership-based association incorporated by special legislation Bill Pr14, Blue Mountain Village Association Act, 1999. BMVA supports the Village by providing public amenities and programming, destination marketing, community relations, and more. Visitor amenities include public walkways and seating, docks and trails, water play fountain, playground, gardens, the Mill Pond, visitor information services and wayfinding signage, public restrooms, and more. Visitor programming includes award winning events and animation, seasonal decorations, children’s activities, visitor planning and information services, safety and security, maintenance, waste collection and recycling, and more.

Best Rate Guaranteed Policy

We strive to provide our guests a one-stop solution to their stay at Blue Mountain Resort, and that means ensuring the best rates on all of our accommodation is available on BlueMountain.ca Any of our lodging options are available to reserve online or by calling our Contact Centre. If you find a better price for your lodging anywhere on the Internet than the one you already reserved with us, we will match that price based on the following criteria.

1. The variable nature of our business means that lodging rates can change at any time. This presents the possibility that you may find a lower price once you have completed your reservation directly through us. If this occurs, or you have a question regarding a rate you have found, we invite you to contact us up to 48 hours following the completion of your reservation. We will require the website link where the rate was found along with:

  • Your name
  • Your reservation number
  • Your email address (if different than the one used for the reservation)
  • Your phone number
  • The exact type of unit (including number of bedrooms, number of beds, etc.)
  • The date of arrival and departure
  • The total number of units booked
  • The number of people in your party (adults and children)
  • The Internet address of the competing supplier
  • The lower accommodation price quoted in Canadian dollars.


2. The Best Price Guarantee is applicable to any available room type on the Internet, for the same unit type, the same date of arrival and departure, the same hotel or condo complex, the same number of people and the same deposit and/or cancellation policies.

3. The lower accommodation price must be in Canadian dollars.

4. Rate comparisons will be made net of any taxes, gratuities, or any other fees associated with the room rate, and the Comparison Rate must still be available and accessible by the agent at the time of processing the request.

5. The Guarantee does not apply in the following situations:

  • Contracted group and/or corporate rates.
  • Pre-established promo rates.
  • It cannot be combined with any point redemption or loyalty programs.
  • Direct or CRM driven offers and website hot deals where the property and accommodation type remains unconfirmed until the transaction is completed or where the rate includes other package elements.
  • Instances where a third party website has published an incorrect rate in error or that was not expressly approved in writing by Blue Mountain Resort.


6. Blue Mountain is not responsible for any fees or other costs incurred due to cancellation of a reservation.

7. If the agent processing the request is unable to verify the comparison rate in a live environment, Blue Mountain Resort reserves the right to deny that inquiry. Screen shots and printed material will not be considered as sufficient proof of valid rate comparison.

Privacy Policy

As the reservation holder you are the only person that can obtain details of this reservation. If you would like additional individuals to have access, their name must be added to the reservation (please contact the Reservation Department). No information regarding this reservation will be shared otherwise.

Parking

To allow us to manage resort capacity, the outdoor surface parking in the main Village area is reserved for day visitors only. Guests who are staying in Village Suites or Mosaic must park at the underground parking only. One space per reservation is included in the daily Resort Fee. Underground parking is available on a first come, first served basis and is not guaranteed. If you have more than one car, or an oversized vehicle, additional spaces may be requested for a fee and are subject to availability.

Fitness Centres, Pool and Hot Tub Access

Village at Blue Mountain guests have access to a seasonal outdoor pool. Blue Mountain Inn guests have year-round access to the indoor pool. Seasonal outdoor pools are also available for Mountain Home guests in Rivergrass and Historic Snowbridge. Mosaic guests have exclusive access to a year-round pool.

Rules And Regulations

All reservations are subject to a Security Deposit upon arrival. This can be paid by Cash, Debit or by Credit Card in the sum of $200 CAD.

You may be asked to validate in-person upon check-in, the credit card that was used to reserve or pay online.

By booking your reservation, you are acknowledging that as the Registered Guest you agree to all of the rules and regulations below.Non-Adherence to these rules could affect the return of your security deposit and may result in your eviction from the unit you rented and from the property of Blue Mountain Resorts LP. You furthermore authorize Blue Mountain Resort to charge the Credit Card used at the time of check-in for any outstanding charges on your account after your departure.

1) As the registrant of the rented unit, you must be at least 18 years of age.

2) As the holder of the registered Credit Card used for the security deposit, you must remain in house for the duration of the contracted stay with Blue Mountain Resort. The registered guest accepts responsibility for other unit occupants that are in violation of the rules laid out within this document.

3) Excessive noise or activity that disturbs other guests may lead to using your security deposit for compensating other guests and/or eviction from the property without refund of hotel charges.

4) Smoking inside the room or on the balcony is not permitted at any time. If any traces of smoking are detected, a minimum charge of $130.00 plus taxes will be deducted from your security deposit.

5) Pets are not permitted in any rental suites with the exception of the Blue Mountain Inn, subject to conditions.

6) The occupancy of your rental unit may not exceed the maximum persons allowed and violations of occupancy may lead to eviction. Maximum persons allowed: 1 Bedroom units – 4 persons , 3 Bedroom units – 8 persons, 2 Bedroom units – 6 persons, 4 Bedroom units – 10 persons

7) Any damage caused to the rented unit (including but not limited to damage to furniture, fixtures, flooring, walls, doors, appliances, and the unit’s exterior) will be paid by the registrant. Blue Mountain Resort reserves the right to charge the cost of damage to the Credit Card on file, or invoice, and agrees to provide the guest with a statement of charges.

8) Recreational equipment (ski, snowboard, bikes etc.) are not permitted in guest rooms in the Village & Mosaic suites. Please ask the Front Desk for equipment storage options.

Other Important Information

The Scandinavian Baths cannot be reserved in advance and are subject to capacity levels. We recommend that guests plan their visit on less busy days or call ahead for estimated wait times. Bathing suits are mandatory, and two towels, a locker and key are provided.

Child care and snow school programs have limited space.

Note: Blue Mountain cannot guarantee specifics about room location, amenities and views, or early check-ins and late check-outs. These options can be secured with an additional charge.

All reservations are subject to acceptance by Blue Mountain Resort. Every effort is made to ensure accuracy although errors may occur. We reserve the right to change or correct information without notice should the need arise.

Dog Friendly Accommodation

Blue Mountain provides dog friendly accommodation at the Blue Mountain Inn.

  • One dog per room is permitted.
  • We are happy to provide a pet bed, food & water bowls, dog treats and waste disposal bags to assist in making your dogs stay comfortable. A fee of $50 will be added to your accommodation invoice.
  • Your dog must be on leash or in a carrier while in hotel elevator or lobby.
  • Your dog must be presented upon check-in.
  • Dogs must be kenneled while owner is out of room or unsupervised.
  • Dog owners must arrange with Front Desk an appropriate time for housekeeping service, and either be present during the housekeeping service or remove the dog from the room.
  • If your dog is left unattended in the room you must advise the Front Desk where you can be reached and an approximate time of return. A cell phone number will be required upon check-in for this purpose.
  • Dogs are not permitted in restaurants, recreation areas (pools, hot tubs, fitness facility), the spa, or at the Blue Mountain Beach.
  • Pets are not permitted on the furniture or beds in your room. We will gladly provide you with a comfortable sleeping place for your pet to enjoy during their stay with us.
  • Guests are responsible to ensure that their dog is up to date on all shots and free from fleas and ticks.
  • Biting or aggressive dogs are not allowed, regardless of muzzle guard or cage. Dog owners must conform to the Dog Owners Liability Act (DOLA) and abide by its laws and regulations including laws pertaining to restricted breeds and dangerous/aggressive pets.
  • Unfortunately, feline and other pets are not permitted at Blue Mountain Resort at this time.
Accommodation Partner Terms & Conditions Cancellation Policy

The following terms and conditions pertain to Accommodation Partner bookings on BlueMountain.ca

  • Cancelations can be made up to 14 days before arrival for a full refund. After that time, no refund will be given for cancelations or changes to the booking.
  • Number of guests cannot exceed the max number on the listing.
  • Parking passes and Key fobs must be returned at the end of the stay or guest can incur charges.
  • 24-hour municipal by law is in effect regarding noise.
  • $100 pet fee per stay. Dogs ONLY no exceptions. *on pet friendly properties only
  • Virtual Check in desk. Day of contact via text msg.
  • A 24-hour customer service line and a security office phone number will be available upon check in, along with other house rules for your review.


Note: When booking accommodation operated by a third-party provider, your personal information will be shared with that provider to facilitate your reservation. By completing your booking, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information for the purpose of processing, fulfilling, servicing, and administering your stay, including necessary communications related to your reservation.

Minimum Length of Stay

All lodging reservations are subject to minimum length of stay (MLOS) requirements, which may vary by date and accommodation type. If a reservation that includes an MLOS requirement is modified or cancelled in a way that no longer meets the minimum stay, the original stay will remain chargeable and payment will be required in accordance with the booking terms.
