Day 1: Jump Start the Fun

When you're ready for the thrills, control your own speed along 1 km of track at speeds up to 42 km/hr on the Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster. Adults or older kids who want to challenge themselves can head to Timber Challenge High Ropes complete with zip lines and bridges up to 15 m off the ground.

Take a break for lunch at Grand Central Eatery for quick service and a variety of base lodge favourites and healthy options your whole family will enjoy. When you're ready to get back to the action, slow it down on the Cascade Putting Course, or head over to the Coca-Cola Mill Pond Activity Centre for a paddle on a water trike.

Older children will want to head to Ground School to get harnessed up for some high-flying action on the Wind Rider Triple Zip or over to Lumber Lanes Climbing Centre for rock climbing while younger kiddos will enjoy exploring Chutes & Loops Ball Run and Cocoon Crawl Net Adventure.

A full day of play calls for a crowd pleasing dinner. Head over to Firehall Pizza in the Village for delicious loaded thin-crust pizzas, pastas, burgers, wings, salads, and more. With a picky eater friendly kids menu, and plenty of shareables and brews on tap for the adults, everyone will leave full and happy.

After dinner, grab a sweater and head to the Open Air Gondola for an evening ride up the escarpment. If you’re feeling energetic, there are multiple hiking trails to the top. Take in the scenic views as the sun starts to set before taking your return gondola trip down to the Village.

Bonus: After Bed Time Activities

If a nightcap is in order, stop by Northwinds Brew House and pick up some craft beer to enjoy on your balcony once the kids are in bed. If vacation means a later bed time, check out axe throwing at Axed in the Village.

Day 2: Make a Splash

Grab a great breakfast or brunch at The Pottery Alpine Restaurant with a selection of classic favourites including an Eggs Benedict selection and special options like the Breakfast Burger or Tyrolean Skillet loaded with prime rib, eggs, and fried potato hash. Plan a morning hike up one of our many trails across the escarpment. Take an Open Air Gondola ride to the top of the mountain to take in the views and enjoy the Timeline Trail with interactive boards telling the history of Blue Mountain or try out Sticks and Stones for a great view.

No trip would be complete without finding the perfect souvenir to bring home with you. Take some time to stroll through the unique village shops. Be sure to stop by Blue Mountain Supply Co., right across from Starbucks, for official logo wear and Blue Mountain merch. Catch a sale at Columbia, Burton, or The North Face, and don't forget to stop by the Activity Central shops.

In the afternoon, get in some pool time at Plunge! Aquatic Centre, just around the corner from Weider Lodge. This year-round indoor/outdoor pool, complete with a splash pad, slides, rope swings, hot tubs, and action pool, is great for all ages and the perfect way to break up the day.

When it's time for dinner, hit the Village for Mexican Tacos, Asian Fusion, Sushi, Greek, Italian, and more. Copper Blues has a great kids menu and an expansive outdoor patio so you can dine el fresco and take in the view of the hills or take a trip over to the Blue Mountain Inn for Jozos or The Pottery Alpine Restaurant for traditional alpine fare complete with Kinder options for even the pickiest eaters.

After dinner, take your time walking the boardwalk around the in the Village, enjoy some live entertainment on the stage, visit the shops, and be sure to stop at Chill Seeker Snack Bar for a sweet treat.
