Art InstallationThis mountaintop art installation, created by Kathryn Corbiere of One Kwe, represents an artistic collaboration that beautifully showcases the rich cultural heritage and artistic expressions of Indigenous communities. Blue Mountain is situated on the territories of the Anishinaabeg, and the sculpture is designed to reference their heritage with its seven pillars. Viewers can pause at each pillar and reflect on the seven fire teachings (values) or wisdom, respect, truth, humility, honesty, bravery, and love. At the apex of the pillars is a two-toned mountain peak that represents the Escarpment.
