Activity Change & Cancellation Policy

Change or cancel your trip.

Blue Mountain Resort offers a couple of options for changing or cancelling your purchase: non-refundable, fully refundable, or Flex Credits. Some products and promotions may be excluded from this list. Please check your confirmation email for the full terms and conditions.

New for 24/25, we’ve improved our cancellation policy, which now includes Flex Credits, for some peace of mind when purchasing.
Flex Credit

Starting November 1, 2024, Flex Credit gives you the option to request a full credit for the purchase price paid for an unused and eligible product to be used at a future date within the same season. Flex Credits can be requested up to 10AM on the planned day of use for eligible products, which are outlined below.



After 10AM on planned day of use, purchase becomes non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be applied towards future use.



Flex Credits will be placed on a guest's account within 3 days of the request as long as the request meets eligibility. Credits can only be used and applied to in-person purchases at the daily walk-up rate.

Flex Credit is for the value of your original purchase. Credit expires at the end of the current season. No exceptions or credit extensions will be considered. Winter season is from November 1 to April 30, weather and conditions permitting. Summer season is from May 1 to October 31, weather and conditions permitting. All credits are non-transferable. Flex Credit cannot be used for cash and no refunds will be issued on unused portions. Must be redeemed at Guest Services for on-mountain recreation products within the same season that the credit was issued, at the daily walk-up rate only. Credits can only be used and applied to in-person purchases. Not available for online or Contact Centre redemption. Credit lives on the purchaser profile.

Activities

Cancelations made up to 3 days prior to planned day of use are fully changeable and are eligible for a full refund. Any changes would be reflected at the current rate, and if there is a price difference between the rate paid and the current rate, the purchaser will be required to pay the price difference.


For products that are eligible for a Flex Credit, within 3 days of planned day of use, guests can apply to receive a credit for use at a future date.

Products eligible for Flex Credit include:

  • Winter Lift Tickets
  • Rentals
  • Beginner Bundle (no lesson)
  • Play All Day Tickets [Winter]
  • Play All Day Tickets [Summer] (As of May 1, 2025)
  • Play All Evening Tickets (As of May 1, 2025)
  • Explore All Day Tickets (As of May 1, 2025)



For products that are not eligible for a Flex Credit, within 3 days of planned day of use, the following activities become non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be applied towards future use.

Products not eligible for Flex Credit include:

  • Mountaintop Segway
  • Beginner Bundle with Ski Lesson
  • Beginner Bundle with Snowboard Lesson

Snow School

Multi-Week Programs; Race Programs; Freestyle Programs, and Race and Freestyle Camps are eligible for a refund up to 4 weeks prior to program start. Once programs are within 4 weeks of starting, all programs become non-refundable and non-transferable.


Lessons, including private lessons and group lessons, can be refunded if requested up to 3 days prior to planned day of use. For all lessons within 3 days of planned day of use, the lesson becomes non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be applied towards future use.

Double Down

Double Down lift tickets are non-refundable. Product is fully transferable.

Summer Camp

Camp dates selected at time of purchase are final and cannot be changed to other dates without cancelling and rebooking, which is based on availability and is not guaranteed.


Camps can be refunded if requested up to 4 weeks prior to the first day of the camp start date.


For all camps within 4 weeks of the camp start date, the camp becomes non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be applied towards future use.

How to Cancel or Change a Booking

Please call 1-833-583-BLUE (1-833-583-2583) or email refund@bluemountain.ca and speak with a Contact Centre agent to process a cancellation for your booking if it qualifies.

How to Apply for a Flex Credit

Note: in the event of a full day resort closure (i.e. severe weather), a full refund of the product will be automatically issued within 7 days of planned use. Guests will be notified by email if their purchase qualifies for a full refund.
