Chair Lift Loading

Access to the mountain is changing with the introduction of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and access gates. All tickets will be RFID-enabled to open access gates automatically for hands-free ticket scanning and lift access.

The RFID cards will enable the access gates to read the contents of guests' tickets and passes using a signal emitted by the gate. When you approach the access gates, the RFID card will register and open the gate automatically.

RFID Cards FAQ's

WHERE SHOULD I PLACE MY RFID CARD?

Place your RFID enabled ticket card into a secure jacket pocket on the left side of your body. Please ensure that the card is in a separate pocket from things such as wallets, cell phones, music devices, or any foil-wrapped items such as gum.

CAN I PUT MY MULTIPLE CARDS TOGETHER?

No. Unfortunately, when multiple cards are put together, they can deactivate and may not work properly. Only carry your own RFID card when passing through the access gates, and if you have multi-day cards, place these into separate pockets.

CAN I PUT A HOLE IN IT TO ATTACH TO A LANYARD ETC?

No. Punching holes into your RFID cards can damage the antenna that is embedded into the card. The card will become unusable and will need to be replaced.
